We’re all about the future.
Growing, changing, developing new and better products – this happens in the building industry every single day. Magazines are devoted to new products and new technologies. But it’s not all about the products and the bells and whistles.
What about the people? Filling an industry with smart, well-educated people ensures the success and survival of that industry.
Here at CGI, we’ve supported the architecture industry from the beginning. Why? Because we believe in partnerships. We have active memberships in seven AIA chapters around the state of Florida, and we are proud to sponsor the annual AIA Florida convention.
Just recently, we took it a step further by creating a scholarship fund for the Department of Architecture of the Florida International University College of Architecture + the Arts (CARTA). We believe in helping to build the architecture community by supporting it from within. Strong architecture students = a strong community.
The scholarship funds will be used for awards given to the annual Walk on Water competition winners, as well as students who demonstrate exemplary work and a dedication to their education.
We are so excited to watch these great students flourish and grow in the years to come. Borrowing a line from the great Whitney Houston, “(We) believe the children are our future …”
