HURRICANE RESISTANT WINDOWS AND DOORS

PART 1 GENERAL

1.1 SECTION INCLUDES

A. Impact-resistant aluminum windows, including aluminum extrusions, finish, glass,operating hardware, screens, internal sealants and weather stripping, for highvelocity hurricane zone (HVHZ) construction.

B. Impact-resistant aluminum swing doors, frames, sidelites, transoms, and structuralmullions, including aluminum extrusions, finish, glass, door hardware, water-barrier thresholds, and weather strips, for high velocity hurricane zone (HVHZ) construction.

C. Impact-resistant aluminum sliding glass doors, frames, fixed panels, and structural mullions, including aluminum extrusions, finish, glass, door hardware, screens, water barrier thresholds, and weather strips, for high velocity hurricane zone (HVHZ) construction.
